About me
"Who you are speaks so loudly I can't hear what you are saying." - Emerson
So, my friends, it is almost futile to give my profile here. No matter what I write about myself, you will ultimately judge me by who I am, the core essence of me that will reveal itself to you in due course through my thoughts, actions and my contributions.
Just for the sake of introduction, I could talk about what I have been. And I have been a lot of things - a barefoot schoolboy, an addict, a sadhu (at age 14!), a teacher, a teacher trainer, a textbook writer, an educational consultant and an NLP practitioner among many other things.
I could also tell you about what I have done. And I have done pretty many things. I have taught children for 18 years and I have coached thousands of teachers across Nepal and India. I have read hundreds of books, walked thousands of miles on foot, gone without food for weeks (because I didn't have the money to buy or the courage to beg), gone rafting, done fire walking.... Well, the list goes on.
But at the moment I would like to be known as an author and educator, simply.
As an author, my first significant book is Little Master. It is, in a way, the story of my own life. But unlike the little boy in the story who discovers his greatness in a few hours of contemplation at the riverbank, it took me good 38 years to discover who I am.
I believe my life has just begun and I am on my way to create many a masterpiece. You can expect at least one book a year from me for the next several years. All my books, whatever their genre, will be deeply inspiring and educational like Little Master.
So much for now.
